Curious Fingers Retrieve Dwemer Artifacts

Once Kiseena had determined which of the huts of Hla Oad was known as Fatleg's Drop-Off, Kiseena sat to have dinner and then continued on out of town. Why? Because the idea of an armored adventurer stopping in town for a simple meal was now foremost in the minds of those who lived in the swamp-town. Few would suspect that Kiseena was waiting in the bushes in the distance for nightfall.

Once the dark of night had fallen with the added darkness of the clouds overhead, Kiseena returned to town. With armor left in the bushes in a memorable spot, Kiseena was able to move more quickly, and more silently. Into Fatleg's Drop-Off this one went, and quickly was the search for Habasi's missing artifacts. The lock on their hiding place was simple to bypass, and curious fingers found the items that Sugar-Lips had misplaced. The chest was re-locked and Kiseena slipped out again, into the wild and with Ra'Zhid none the wiser.

Dispite being night-time still, Kiseena did not wish to wait in Hla Oad until Azurah returned the morning. Instead, the hidden armor was again collected and Kiseena retraced her path to the river Odai and then north to the safety of Balmora.

Sugar-Lips Habasi was very happy to have her misplaced dwarven artifacts back, and gave Kiseena expensive lock-picks and trap-picks. She also must have seen how tired Kiseena was from traveling back and then forth in the dead of night and so sent this one up to one of the South Wall's beds for a well-deserved nap. With any luck, there will be a window to bathe Kiseena's bed in warm sunlight...

Swamp Towns and More Wet Fur

The Council Club was close to the stairs leading up to where the silt-bug driver stands and waits for foolish people who want to sit inside bugs. Kiseena was watched carefully as Kiseena went down to the tavern level. The man behind the bar directed Kiseena to Sovor Trandel, one of the better-dressed servants this one had seen. He was not as critical or distrusting of outsiders as the other dark elves of the room seemed to be. Much booze and much monetary persuasion was done, but eventually the inebriated Sovor gave Kiseena the key requested by Habasi.

Although Sugar-Lips Habasi was less thrilled about receiving the key as she was receiving the diamond, the reward in-pocket was greater. Five hundred gold for a simple key and a few hours among dunmer giving Kiseena dirty looks. A bargain no matter the context. Also, this one now proudly holds the rank of Footpad. Kiseena is unsure about what the rank words mean or what they entitle, but it feels nice all the same.

Another task was given to this one. A friend of Habasi's by the name of Ra'Zhid in the town of Hla Oad has stolen dwarven artifacts from the guild of thieves. If the khajiit in question will not return the items, Kiseena is to find them and take them back through standard sneaky tactics. Hla Oad would prove to be quite a trip south from Balmora. Although Caius was likely waiting to hear from Kiseena again, he had told this one to cultivate an identity. How better to do so than to undertake a large job for the guild of thieves?

The way would be tricky. No roads lead directly from Balmora to Hla Oad. Asking around, an argonian by the name of Hul mentioned that the easiest course would be to head straight south along the Odai River that passes through Balmora until a correct road may be found. If Kiseena reaches the shore, then Kiseena has gone too far.

Kiseena collected her chitin armor and weapons that had been hidden before visiting the Council Club earlier in the day. Kiseena then bid the large town of Balmora farewell and set off along the river Odai. Thunder began to rumble in the distance as Kiseena happened across a kwama egg mine that resting miners called Shulk. The group of them were talking of something called the "Nerevarine prophecy" when Kiseena arrived. As the storm got closer, the group of them returned to the safety of the mine. Kiseena was not so lucky, and so the sound of rain bouncing off the metal of the new fur hat came quickly.

The storm almost seemed to let up while Kiseena was fighting a pair of scrib. As Kiseena continued south, the grass gave way to more ashen hills, and the thunder returned much more loudly. Mother would have said that the sky "opened up" then, with rain pouring down at such a volume that it became hard to see. At the shape of a wooden bridge, Kiseena turned west and thankfully left the ash and Odai behind to return to a pathway and words on blessed signs. It then became easy for Kiseena to find the town of Hla Oad, where this one sat on a bench beneath the awning of a hut and listened to the rain as words were written.

From Habasi to Nalcarya to Nerano

No sooner had Kiseena returned to the South Wall and told Habasi of this one's wish to join than had she taken Kiseena aside and told of the first job of many. At the opposite corner of Balmora lived and worked a high elf by the name of Nalcarya of White Haven. The store was a house of alchemy, and had a great many apparatus and ingredient for the seasoned mage. The last time Sugar-Lips had been in Nalcarya's shop, she had detected the scent of diamonds. It was a diamond that Kiseena was asked to retrieve.

Nalcarya's alchemist shop was in the more expensive side of Balmora. It was because of this that the store was small and cramped, and because of this that one of the Balmora city guards stood watch in a corner. Thankfully for Kiseena, heavy armor does wonders for protection but does little to allow one to see all goings-on in the area. It was a simple task to enter into conversation with the mer, talk openly of a want to learn alchemy, and how the mortar and pestle on display was so lovely.. and to palm a diamond while the attention of all were on something quite different.

Yes, the diamond rest snugly in a pouch at Kiseena's waist while the conversation continued another few minutes. And then, just as suddenly, "pressing matters were at hand" that forced Kiseena to bid Nalcarya farewell. By now the clouds had returned or new clouds had arrived. The rain had begun falling once again. Habasi had been waiting for word of the task, but was quite surprised to see Kiseena returning with such haste and without city guards close at this one's heels.

The rest of the evening and long into the night were spent reveling in the day's sneaky acts with Sugar-Lips Habasi and her compatriots. Much booze was drank, many songs sang and dances danced. Kiseena was even promoted from "Toad" to "Wet Ear" in the guild of thieves of Balmora by an adorably drunk Habasi before the lot of us fell asleep on the hard tables of the South Wall's underground bar.

When Kiseena awoke the next morning, this one's left ear refused to stay pointing in the correct direction for several hours. Habasi, who was in a much less jovial mood on waking up from a night of merrymaking, was still pleased to see this one. She told Kiseena of her next task. One of the local nobles of Balmora had a home called Nerano Manor. The lower doors of this manor house are rarely locked, but the upper doors are locked and it is behind these locks that the more interesting aspects of the house are located. Ondres Nerano, the noble himself, naturally has a key. But so too does Sovor Trandel, servant to Nerano.

Sovor is a frequent face at one of the higher-scale clubs of Balmora, the Council Club by the silt-bug port. It is here that Kiseena will go once this one has bathed and found somewhere to stow the armor and weapons that just do not speak the words "high-class."

The Duties Continue, Split Between Two Masters

Kiseena asked around about the whereabouts of Caius Cosades. An argonian with the interesting name Only-He-Stands-There told Kiseena that whatever this one's business with Caius is, that Kiseena should be careful. Apparently Caius looks as an old man, but when underestimated in the past has been more than able to handle himself. Kiseena would later find out that this was quite true.

A lady khajiit named Chirranirr told Kiseena that Vvardenfell had many dwarven ruins, but that the imperials had decided to make looting them against the law. This one is not certain why the fellow khajiit offered this information; perhaps this one looks more the adventurer than Kiseena realized, or perhaps Chirranirr was as warm-bellied as Kiseena was after the short snack of food and booze. She also mentioned that Caius has a taste for moon sugar that might rival that of Sheggorath himself.

The man behind bar suggested that Kiseena speak to the owner of the South Wall, named Bacola. On the way up toward this man, Kiseena met the lovely and mysterious Sugar-Lips Habasi and her compatriots, Arathor and Sottilde. They kept to themselves in a back hallway, and their talking dried up soon after Kiseena neared. Something prompted this one to speak to Habasi, but before long, Kiseena was being offered a position in a guild of thieves. She said Kiseena looked as if to have some skill, and gave this one a short speech on the honor her guild holds. No stealing from brother thieves, no attacking brother thieves. Where to find those that might help remove a bounty from this one's head. Kiseena asked for time to think over the proposition. There were more pressing matters at-hand such as "imperial duties."

Finally, Bacola was found, and directions to Caius were given. By now the angry clouds had gone away, and so Kiseena went to deliver the package and hopefully be done with the post-prison duties this one was thrust upon. The hopes were not founded in fate's wishes, sadly.

The home of Caius Cosades was messy, to say the least. Bottles and bed-things laying about, books pages-down on the floor. An old skooma-pipe, almost an antique, in an attempt at being hidden under the bed. Caius looked every bit the old addict that Chirranirr suggested, but Kiseena was wary. He was quite confused to hear that not only was Kiseena looking for him, but that Kiseena was doing so on imperial order. The package was given, but Caius asked this one not to leave quite yet. Sadly, the package mentioned that Kiseena was to become one of the Blades - the secret spies of the Emperor himself -  and that as such would now be working for this Caius for a time.

Caius already had orders for Kiseena, as well. He gave this one some money and suggested that Kiseena take on a cover identity and see about joining a guild. Of the former, Kiseena chose mother's old title of "traveling acrobat." Of the latter, this one need only return to Sugar-Lips Habasi and relay her decision to join. It is for this guild that Kiseena should do some work, Caius said, so that the locals of Balmora might get used to seeing Kiseena and so be able to hide in the open.

Perhaps Only-He-Stands-There was right, and this Caius is more than meets the eye.

Volcanoes, Silt-Bugs, Slavers - Why Would People Live Here?

After lunch, Kiseena continued on toward Balmora. The trip was not very eventful. A short fight with a rat of a size Kiseena had not seen outside the sewers and alleys of the white imperial city in Cyrodiil. It was no match for Kiseena's halberd. The grasses of the swamps near Seyda Neen and Pelagiad gave way to a short canyon that this one believes the locals call a "foyada," a path made from the long-ago travel of lava. The center of Vvardenfell, apparently, is a large volcano called Red Mountain.

The path taken along the ashen foyada was short, though, as the words on the signs told Kiseena toward another way. Along the walls of a place called the Moonmoth Legion Fort, then away and finally across a stone bridge to Balmora. By now it was starting to rain and there was another silt-bug nearby, much closer than the one this one had encountered at Seyda Neen. It took most of Kiseena's courage to cross the path of the terrible thing, even when it made its also-terrible noises.

The rain got harder and so Kiseena found a building to take shelter in. By chance it happened to be a small trading house run by a fellow khajiit by the name of Ra'Virr. It is from Ra'Virr that Kiseena learned some things of Vvardenfell. For instance, it is the homeland of the dark elves, and most other traders would be at best unfriendly toward outlanders such as Kiseena. Also, in a round-about way, Kiseena found that Ra'Virr is one of the few in Balmora that would purchase the skooma and delicious moon sugar found in the slaver cave by Seyda Neen.

While waiting for the rain to stop, Kiseena bought some leather pants, arrows to replace those Kiseena had lost, and a fur helmet usually worn by nords of Skyrim. All this and a nice pouch of gold for two bottles of skooma and a few pinches of moon sugar! If all slave and bandit caves have as much, this one's gold problems will be over but fast. The helmet proved to be large on this one's head, but it is sure to help in further liberations of money and such.

The guards of Balmora wear strange, dirty yellow armor, some with spikes. All are dark elves and most are unpleasant to speak with. One gave Kiseena directions to the South Wall Cornerclub, where Sellus said that Kiseena should look for information regarding where Caius may be found. The rain slowed, but the sky was still mean-looking as this one crossed town, and eventually found the club.

It is loud here, but there are empty corner seats where wet khajiit may dry off and write words for later readers.

Shipping Notes Between Kittens

Kiseena left Seyda Neen bright and early today. The air was not too warm and sticky, and Kiseena had almost forgotten the smell of the evil water from last night. Kiseena said her good-byes to Elone, Hrisskar, Arrille and yes, even Fargoth, before leaving the way the words of Elone's directions told. North from town, then east along the road, following signs. Kiseena was glad to get the sound of the big silt-bug out of Kiseena's mind.

The trail was long and mostly boring. Kiseena fought a small yellow leech-thing that Kiseena later found out was called a scrib. What is it with Vvardenfell and the creepy, disgusting animals? Where are the dogs and deer and cute bear cubs of Cyrodiil?

It was not long after Kiseena passed a path that led north to a place called Pelagiad that Kiseena met a very well-dressed woman named Maurrie. She was very nervous and said she had recently been robbed. The bandit had stolen her jewels and then left toward the nearby imperial town. Maurrie was not very concerned with trying to recover her jewels - instead she was more concerned with meeting the bandit again. The woman was almost giddy with feelings for the bandit and told Kiseena of him for a long time. Then, begging for Kiseena's help, Maurrie gave Kiseena a glove and asked her to find the bandit, named Nelos something.

Had Kiseena not just passed the road to that town, Kiseena would have said no. Plus, Kiseena has a soft-spot for love, no matter how foolish it may sound. In Pelagiad, a woman suggested Kiseena look in the local tavern for this Nelos mer. The elf was sitting in one of the dark corners of the Halfway Tradehouse, no doubt working on his mysterious rogue appearance. Kiseena was happy to see the confusion when Kiseena showed Nelos the glove. Nelos scribbled words on a small paper and asked Kiseena to return the paper to Maurrie.

The cynic voice in Kiseena's head says that if Kiseena knew the extent of the back-and-forth between woman and mer that this one might have refused the task from the start. But there is an odd charm to having a hand in the affairs of others in a way that does not involve hiding in shadows and curious fingers. Sadly, the only reward that Maurrie had for Kiseena was the suggestion that Kiseena meet her friend Barnard in a town called Tel Branora, saying that we would "get along famously." Kiseena has not met this man or mer, but this one doubts the notion.

For now, after a short lunch out of sight of Maurrie (who is no doubt headed soon to Pelagiad), Kiseena eats a quick lunch and writes words of the morning's events.

Creepy Elves and Hollow Stumps

The book was very interesting, and one that Kiseena would like to own again in the future. For now, Kiseena may have to sell it, as it is looks well-made and expensive. After the reading, and the drinking, and the sitting in the sun, Kiseena had little chance holding back the urge to nap. And nap Kiseena did, for many hours.

When Kiseena woke up, it was quite dark. Down in the nearby Seyda Neen, Kiseena could see a guard with torch doing his boring rounds. Also, Kiseena could see a creepy little elf named Fargoth wandering about. This one had not noticed before, but the other people of Seyda Neen seem to dislike talking to or even being near this wood elf. Perhaps Kiseena is being too hard on the mer, but that is not for this one to decide.

As Kiseena watched the wood elf, he began to creep about the outer stone fence that ran about part of the Census building. His path zigged and zagged between the small huts about the shore of town, as if trying to make sure that any following him would be confused and befuddled. In time, no doubt with a proud-of-himself smirk on his mer face, Fargoth crept to the dirty, muck-puddle nearby the large tree and began to wade through its waters. When he was waist-deep, Kiseena saw Fargoth reach down into a stump in the middle and fiddle about.

By the time Kiseena crept down from the lighthouse (by way of the old, dead tree outside, so as not to disturb the keeper), Fargoth had slipped away again, perhaps to change his lower clothing. Kiseena did her best to look, but could not think of a way to retrieve what goods the stump held in such a way as to not touch the smelly water.

Kiseena will never forgive Fargoth, nor that Skyrim-born Hrisskar, for making Kiseena wade through evil waters to retrieve three hundred lousy septims and two lockpicks and that magic ring. The water of the sea was very cold and cleaning Kiseena's pants and fur was not pleasant. If Hrisskar were not such a large man, Kiseena might have decided to keep all of the money found in the stupid stump. He was at least happy enough to let Kiseena keep one hundred of the gold and everything else found in the hiding place.

That will help Kiseena forget about the dirty pool and the creepy elf. If it were not so late in the day, Kiseena would begin the trip to Balmora. If Vvardenfell is as dangerous as Elone and others have hinted, then travelling at mid-night alone is a very bad idea.

Being Sneaky and Getting Paid Too

It felt very good to sleep in a bed for the first time in many days and months. This day started off almost as curious as the one before.

Kiseena first talked to Elone for the second time. She is a redguard and worked the bar above Arrille's trading house last night when Kiseena needed a room. Elone noticed Kiseena's discomfort at the idea of being near the silt-bugs (of which Kiseena recently found out there was more than one, S'renndar help us). She was very nice to Kiseena, and gave this one written directions on how to travel to Balmora by road instead. It will be a long walk, and may be dangerous, but it is preferable to silt-bugs in more ways than Kiseena has paper to write words.

Before Kiseena could leave the bar, a very large man - possibly one of the Skyrim people - stopped Kiseena. He said this one "looked like a sneaky sort of person," and to Kiseena's surprise, offered a task that he would rather keep off the record. It appears this man (as it turns, this was Hrisskar, and it was his knife that Kiseena found and took from the Census building and his knife that now hangs at Kiseena's side) enjoys bothering the wood elf Fargoth, and has been having trouble doing so. Fargoth has been hiding his valuables, and Hrisskar wanted me to help him find them.

He told Kiseena that he has already checked out Fargoth's house and not found any hidden places. He suggested that Kiseena find somewhere that can watch the entire town like the silt-bug dock (no, no-no) or the nearby lighthouse and watch where Fargoth goes. It sounded a good enough plan, and money was involved. Plus, that short mer is sort of creepy. Kiseena bets he likes silt-bugs, too.

As luck would have it, Kiseena was able to sneak past the lighthouse keeper when Kiseena went to investigate Hrisskar's idea of a viewing place. Even better, just before the door to the upper landing, Kiseena found a book called The Wraiths' Wedding Dowry and a bottle of booze. Today will be a lovely, lazy day of sitting in the sun, drinking and reading, and keeping an eye out for creepy little elves.

The High Elf was Right

Kiseena has many words to write. Arrille was right. There was a cave by the rock the big silt-bug stands near. Inside was a boat and a small fire and a dark elf that was very unhappy to see someone such as Kiseena. With arrows from the bow and a short exchange of cuts with daggers, Kiseena is happy to say the dark elf was not the winner.

This one has never killed before, but it did not feel as bad as some might say. They were outlaws, as the high elf in town said. The elf at Kiseena's feet had money and a key that would soon be used for something that would make mother very proud.

Further into the cave, Kiseena found a locked door. Behind the door were two from Black Marsh and a fellow khajiit. The glowing shackles on their wrists told this one that the group of them were slaves. The people who lived in this "Addamasartus" cave were worse than outlaws. They were slavers. Luckily, Kiseena found that the key found in the pockets of the dead elf could unlock the shackles dispite their evil magic. Kiseena then told them the way out of the cave and bid them good luck.

Once Kiseena saw the freed slaves off, she met another of the bad people living in this cave. This one knew magic, and so much time was spent running around, trying to evade his spells and trying to shoot arrows back at him. It seemed like he grew tired of using magicka and came at Kiseena with a dagger. He was not as fast as this one and so fell to Kiseena's blade faster yet than the first bad elf.

Kiseena is not sure why she continued. Perhaps it was curiosity, perhaps it was a need for gold. Perhaps yet it was some want for revenge for the capture and keep of slaves for later sale. This one continued into the cave and found the final bad person, another elf woman. Kiseena and this woman traded arrows and throwing-blades from either side of a long wood walkway. She must have run out of throwing-blades, because she rushed Kiseena and ended up like her two slaver friends.

Many interesting things were found by Kiseena's sneaky fingers in this cave. Scrolls, money, clothing, food and delicious moon sugar. Even some booze and skooma. This one knows that writing words of moon sugar and skooma is not such a wise thing, but Kiseena is good at hiding the papers of words that are written. Also, a long spear that felt as if it could do damage to bad people.

By the time Kiseena returned to Seyda Neen, Azurah was close to making the sun dissapear and let Jode and Jone out to play. After selling many of the goods liberated from the now-dead slavers, Kiseena went upstairs to get a room for the night. Kiseena is very tired now from writing words after Kiseena's long day.

Exploration More Fun with Full Belly

No sooner had Kiseena finished eating food stolen from the Census place than this one was set upon by an elf. Kiseena writes the words "set upon" because the wood elf in question was very strange. He began talking to this one in a way that was surprising. Kiseena is not easy to sneak up on.

The elf said his name was Fargoth. He asked if Kiseena had come from the boat, as this time of day boats are apparently a rarity. Before Kiseena could respond, the elf attempted to casually mention that he had lost a magic ring that was an heirloom. He claimed that the guards in town like to bother him regularly, and they might have taken it. Curse this one for forgetting mother's teachings! Kiseena hesitated in telling the elf Kiseena had not seen his ring - this one could see in Fargoth's eyes that he already knew the answer. Kiseena had to give the elf his magic ring. At the very least, the elf was grateful to have it back. He suggested Kiseena talk to his friend Arrille who owned the local trading house.

When this one was told of freedom (so long as strange package was delivered to Caius), Kiseena was given some gold for expenses. Together with more gold taken from unwatched room with food, going to see Arrille sounded like a good idea. Arrille was a high elf. Kiseena believes they are called "high" because they are very tall and have golden skin and like to wear expensive things. Arrille was no exception, but he was nice to Kiseena. He suggested that Kiseena buy a weapon and some armor if this one planned to keep living. Vvardenfell is a very dangerous place, it seems. He also said that many people make a living killing outlaws, and all-to-casually mentioned a cave nearby the "silt strider" dock. The silt strider is the large, loud bug that makes Kiseena squirm to hear or think of. Bugs should just not be that big.

Arrille had many things for sale. A nice bow seemed to go well with the dagger Kiseena had found in the Census place. Also a suit of white armor called chitin for the upper-body and matching gauntlets. This one would have bought more, but even after selling the silverware and bowls and curious book of stars, Kiseena did not have much money left. Not enough even for trip to Balmora on one of those silt-bug things, for which Kiseena is very grateful.

Maybe Kiseena should visit outlaws in cave like Arrille says.

Seyda Neen is Far Too Wet

More paper has been found, and so more words may be written.

On the ship, Kiseena met a dark elf named Jiub. He was nice, but kept to himself. Did not like for Kiseena to see the scar on his face. He kept this one company, and kept this one sane. Those that owned the ship did not let Kiseena or Jiub out of the bottom of the boat, and so it felt as if Alkosh was missing. Sleep came often, and with sleep came bad dreams, strange dreams.

A woman's voice came to Kiseena in these dreams. Dark lands, terrible storms. The voice told this one that she is watching over Kiseena. That was when Jiub woke Kiseena up and said that the boat had arrived. He barely had time to say good-bye before a guard had taken Kiseena's chains away and sent this one up to the deck.

Seyda Neen was what the town was called. It looked far too wet for this one's tastes. A strange, very tall bug made an equally strange sound nearby. Kiseena was led to the docks, where an imperial guard brought me to the "Census and Excise Office," as the words on the sign read. Inside, an old man took this one's information and mentioned that a man in a nearby room would "release" this one.

Kiseena does not know what is happening. Perhaps it is a mistake, though this one hopes the mistake is found out long after Kiseena has disappeared. An imperial named Sellus Gravius said that the task now before this one was to go to a town called Balmora and speak to yet another man named Caius. Sellus told this one that the emperor himself had sent Kiseena to Vvardenfell to be released for such a task, but could not say why. No-one could say why, but Caius might know.

It is rainy here, and Kiseena has fur that does not like being wet. The large bug keeps making that noise, and people keep giving Kiseena unhappy looks. It is not the fault of Kiseena that the clothes are so worn and stained. Sneezing comes easily. At least Kiseena has some food and paper taken from the "Census and Excise Office" place, and a nice ring. It smells like magic. A room with buckets and barrels of liquid was not well watched and Kiseena has curious fingers.

First to fill this one's empty belly, and then to explore this Seyda Neen.

Words Before the Later Words

This one has found a scrap of paper and things to write with, and so will write some words. For those other than Kiseena who are to later read the words, this one's name is Kiseena. The year or month or even the day is uncertain. All Kiseena knows is that the place is a town called Seyda Neen, and the land is called Vvardenfell.

Before more words are written of today, some must be written of the past. The mother of Kiseena once lived on Vvardenfell many years ago. Not wanting this one to live the life of a slave as she had, mother made her escape and fled the area the imperials call Morrowind. This one was then born and given the name Kiseena and taught many things. How to hide, how to keep quiet, how to make the locks of doors be less difficult and more friendly.

Mother called herself a "traveling acrobat," and took this one far from Morrowind, to the loud, white city in the middle of a land called Cyrodiil. "It is at times easier to hide in plain sight among many, than alone in the shadows," mother said. Mother and Kiseena lived in this round city, while mother danced and tumbled for the crowds at the local arena between bloody fights. Kiseena has never doubted mother's words until the day that she was seen by a dark elf that claimed to be mother's owner.

This one did not understand. Mother always taught Kiseena that no man or mer could own another, that all people should be free if they want it. Mother fought the imperials. She was very fast, and had an anger in her eyes that this one had never seen. Ferocious was mother's will to be free, but against the blades of the guards of the white imperial city, will is not always enough.

The dark elf they lay claim to Kiseena, saying that this one was his property by way of birth. "If you cut a gem, do you not then own two gems?" he had asked. This one believes that Merrunz himself push forward the anger inside, and so Kiseena clawed his face deeply. Kiseena was then carried away and thrown into the imperial dungeon.

Many days passed. This one does not know how many, as the loss of mother was still too close. Food arrived but was not eaten, for Kiseena had no will to eat. Imperials came and put chains to Kiseena's feet and wrists. This one was brought to the waterfront, put on a wooden boat. No-one spoke of a destination, though Kiseena once heard mention of Morrowind for the first time in years. Mother did not like to speak of that place.

Kiseena now has little room for more words on this piece of parchment. This one will find more, and more will be written, for odd things have happened and will no doubt continue to happen.

This one misses you, mother.
